Design & Construction Administration
Cannon Group is a licensed architectural and engineering firm that can provide design related services including construction administration services to our clients including but not limited to:
- Develop of construction documents illustrating the scope of the work required to complete the project and convey the intent of the design to the contractors bidding the project. Construction documents will be developed to adapt the design to the particular needs of each individual project. Construction documents typically include plans, elevations, sections, and details as required conveying the project requirements to the contractor.
- Develop project specifications in accordance with CSI standard formats for the administrative and technical portions of the project. Specifications are reviewed and revised as required to meet the needs of each particular project.
- Review bidder questions and issue addendum as needed as well review the submitted bids and make recommendation for award.
- Review shop drawings and submittals supplied by the selected contractors for compliance with the project requirements.
- Site visits and observation of the completed work for general compliance with the intent of our design.
- Review applications for payment
- Review project close-out requirements including manufacturer's warranty certificates for as-built roof and building envelope systems and components, as-built documents, post - construction moisture survey, release of liens, final payment application, etc.
